Jannik Sinner has given fans an update on his fitness following his US Open final loss to Carlos Alcaraz.
Ten days after losing the world No 1 ranking to Alcaraz, Sinner is now looking ahead to the China Open, which kicks off on September 25.

“I’m fine,” he told Tennis TV. “I lost a lot of energy there and had to reset a bit and recharge my batteries. But now I feel better again. Of course, it’s always nice coming back here.”
Sinner will also be hoping to get revenge for last year’s final: the Italian lost in a marathon three-set match, 6-7, 6-4, 7-6.
