RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government in Bihar, alleging that crime in the state has “reached its peak” and criminals have turned into “Vijay and Samrat” — a sharp dig at the two deputy chief ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha.

Speaking to India Today TV in Samastipur during his Bihar Adhikar Yatra, Yadav said Bihar’s development has been stalled for two decades under the NDA.

“As per the NITI Aayog report, Bihar is still the poorest state with the highest unemployment and migration, the lowest per capita income, and minimal investment,” he said, blaming the government for failing to create industries or jobs.

He argued that Bihar cannot progress without tackling law and order and fixing basic infrastructur
