Taking to his Instagram handle, Mohanlal shared photos from the ceremony and wrote, ‘Gratitude’. Immediately, fans also reacted. The actor was conferred with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, India’s highest award in the field of cinema, at the National Film Awards 2025. Filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan was the first recipient of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award from Kerala. He received the honour in 2004.
