Ted Cruz Rages at Democrats After Dallas ICE Facility Targeted by Shooter: ‘Your Political Opponents Are Not Nazis!’

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) raged at Democrats for “demonizing” ICE following an attack on a Dallas facility on Wednesday morning.

Cruz joined law enforcement officers and Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson (R) at a Wednesday press conference following the shooting where four people were shot and two died, including the gunman. Law enforcement did not confirm reports that the victims were detainees, but did say that no officers were harmed in the shooting.

Johnson pressed for “restraint” and “calm” while the investigation plays out, while Joe Rothrock , the FBI special agent in charge of the investigation, said “early evidence” showed
