Jammers were reportedly working in the examination room number 9 during the graduate- level recruitment examination under Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) on Sunday due to which, Khalid Malik had to go to the toilet to leak the paper.

This was claimed by the director of Adarsh Bal Sadan Inter College in Haridwar, Dharmendra Singh Chauhan, who runs the institute where the incident took place. Chauhan told The Pioneer that the jammers were installed by the commission and the technicians had informed that one jammer could cover two rooms, so the same jammer was placed for room numbers 8 and 9. He added that frisking was the responsibility of the police and the examination material was brought by sector magistrate Kailash Nath Tiwari.
