As of Wednesday afternoon, Alabama linebacker Jah-Marien Latham remains at UAB St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham, Crimson Tide coach Kalen DeBoer said.

Latham has been there since Tuesday after he sustained a neck injury in practice.

“Continuing to get evaluated,” DeBoer said. “Will probably know more here in the next 48 hours. Most importantly, he’s got motion and feeling. Just texted with him this morning. He told me to tell the guys he’s doing well. Just more tests and more things we’ve got to evaluate. That’s the latest on him.”

Latham is a graduate linebacker from Reform. He’s been with Alabama since the 2020 season. Latham hasn’t been available in either of the past two games against Lousiana-Monroe or Wisconsin, dealing with another injury.
