Tomorrow won't be as hot as Tuesday, but clouds will make all the difference between cities that drop by more than 10 degrees and cities that are only a tiny bit cooler.

Those clouds will be moving in from the south as a wandering area of low pressure drifts north. The San Joaquin Valley is most likely to have cloud cover for several hours on Wednesday. Sacramento and areas north will likely see a lot more sun.

More sun equals hotter temperatures. The Sacramento Valley is forecast to hit the low to mid 90s Wednesday afternoon. Meanwhile the San Joaquin Valley will stay in the low to mid 80s.
