PAW PAW - Two historic bridges in Morgan County have been added to the National Register of Historic Places, the latest success in local architect and historian David Abruzzi’s ongoing effort to preserve structures and stories in the Paw Paw area.

The National Park Service recently recognized the 1916 Daniel Luten Concrete Arch Bridge in Largent and the 1937 Parker Through Truss Bridge in Great Cacapon for their significance in transportation and engineering. Both were individually nominated this summer by Abruzzi, who runs Cacapon Preservation Solutions, LLC.
