ASHEBORO, N.C. — The Asheboro Police Department (APD) is searching for the suspect vehicle they believe is involved in a hit-and-run that seriously injured the victim.

Police said a 1996-2002 light green Ford Expedition hit a pedestrian on E. Balfour Avenue on Wednesday morning. The car would be missing the passenger side mirror, according to APD.

The car was last seen driving north on Old Liberty Road from E. Balfour Ave.
