Three Pennsylvania high school students were stabbed at their school in an altercation Wednesday morning, and police said they have a suspect in custody.
Police were called to Carrick High School in Pittsburgh around 9:30 a.m. for a “critical incident, according to a post on X by Pittsburgh Public Safety .
The school was placed on lockdown, officials said.
Two students were taken to a hospital with stab wounds to their abdomens, and a third student suffered a “minor laceration” and was treated at the scene and released.
The suspect suffered a cut to his hand. He was treated at the scene, then taken to police headquarters, said Pittsburgh Public Safety.
