WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI — Washtenaw County Sheriff Alyshia Dyer and Prosecutor Eli Savit are urging other communities in Michigan to follow their lead and not assist in the Trump administration’s federal immigration enforcement crackdown.

Dyer and Savit were featured as panelists Wednesday, Sept. 24, during an online briefing on updated legal guidance that the ACLU of Michigan and the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center recently sent to 83 law enforcement agencies in the state.
