With protests, sparked by the fresh recruitment examination paper leak, continuing across the State, Uttarakhand Kranti Dal (UKD) and the Uttarakhand Berojgar Sangh (UBS) held demonstrations at the Collectorate premises in Uttarkashi on Wednesday.

Led by UKD’s city president, Surjeet Singh Rana, the party activists along with a large number of unemployed youth took out a rally that originated in the market and culminated at the Collectorate. They raised slogans against the State government. Later, they submitted a memorandum to the district magistrate, Prashant Arya addressed to the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, demanding cancellation of the examination held on September 21 and a CBI inquiry into the matter.
