ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Fat Bear Nation -- we now know who were the first to fall in the quest to become the rotund-est bruin on southwest Alaska’s Brooks River.

Here’s who lost -- 503 and 609. Both of these bears should be familiar, but maybe not the way you think.

Let’s take a last look at two honorable bears who won’t be thought of as the fattest by millions of friends worldwide.
