OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — An Okaloosa County high school has revealed a classroom makeover after receiving a grant from Florida Power & Light.

According to a news release, Choctawhatchee High School has transformed one of its classrooms into a brand-new aerospace lab.

The classroom makeover was made possible thanks to FPL's STEM Classroom Makeover Grant of $50,000.

The lab includes a flight simulator, as well as the latest cutting-edge technology, according to the release.

"I just feel like it brings up a lot of positive emotions for me, to be in this updated room, because I just love aviation," said Cadet Lt. Col. Lillian Moellenbrink, senior at Choctawhatchee High School.
