LEAVENWORTH, Wash. ( KPTV /Gray News/AP) – Travis Decker, the Washington state father accused of killing his three young daughters at a campground earlier this summer, is dead, U.S. Marshals confirmed in a court filing.

A motion to dismiss Decker’s search warrant was filed in U.S. District Court on Tuesday.

In the document, authorities said Decker is dead.

Human remains believed to be Decker’s were found last week near Leavenworth.
