LOS ANGELES -- The body of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, the 15-year-old girl found dead in the trunk of a car in Hollywood , has been released to her family.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed the teen's body was released for memorial services. That could mean a cause of death may have been determined, but that information has not been released.

Hernandez's body was found more than two weeks ago in the trunk of a Tesla registered to singer D4vd .

Last week, the Los Angeles Police Department searched a Hollywood Hills home where the 20-year-old singer stayed. The house is a short distance away from where the car was impounded and taken to a tow yard.

D4vd has since canceled the remainder of his tour as police investigate the teen's death and any potential ties to the
