RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A cold front will come through dry, but the air behind that one is where the cold air lies. After spending last night in the 60s, temperatures will plummet into the upper 30s tonight. However, that is near the historical average for late November.

Highs in the lower to middle 50s tomorrow will be several degrees below the historical average. There will be plenty of sunshine for the holiday, but there will be a bit of a breeze as well.

Temperatures will fall below freezing tomorrow night under a clear sky and diminishing wind. High pressure will still be centered to the west on Friday, and that high will slide to the north on Saturday. Therefore, both Friday and Saturday will get stuck in the 40s.
