CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cuyahoga Community College head baseball coach Kyle Stahlberg has accepted a position with the Miami Marlins to coach in their minor league system, the school announced on Wednesday.

The Marlins will announce coaching assignments at the end of the season. Assistant baseball coach Nick Kaplak will take over head coaching duties for the Triceratops.

Stahlberg leaves behind a remarkable three-year tenure at Tri-C, where he transformed the program following a pandemic-induced hiatus. Under his leadership, the team compiled a 103-37 record, won back-to-back Ohio Community College Athletic Conference Championships in 2024 and 2025, and achieved a national-best 41-game winning streak last season en route to a 44-8 record.
