AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Richmond County Sheriff Eugene Brantley addressed the violence Augusta has seen in the past two days, including a murder at Augusta Mall and an apparently retaliatory attack .

At a news conference Wednesday, he said young people today aren’t being taught the values to deal with their internal aggression.

“Now in today’s society, we seem to glorify firearms,” he said.
