A Bangkok hospital has been evacuated after a road in front of it suddenly collapsed, creating a massive sinkhole 50 metres deep that swallowed a truck whole.

The dramatic collapse sent water pipes bursting and left a truck tumbling into the enormous crater that opened up without warning.

Incredibly, there were no reports of injuries despite the scale of the collapse in the Thai capital.

Authorities have established an exclusion zone around the area as the dangerous sinkhole continues to expand, raising fears of further collapses.
