The Semaphore Music Festival is ready to light up the October Long Weekend with a program that spills out of pubs, clubs, gardens and even the Time Ball Tower Reserve.

Event organiser Debra Thorsen says the joy of curating the festival is finding the perfect fit between artist and space.

“Charles Jenkins will love the intimacy of Sophia Retreat for the Song Writing Masterclass. There’s something about that church setting that brings out storytelling in people.”

“The Semaphore Workers Club is perfect for our bigger acts because of the history, atmosphere and stage. You could travel the whole world over and never find another venue quite like it.”
