LOUISVILLE, Ky. — There’s a new grassroot political organization looking to provide voters the information they need to elect judges who will hold criminals accountable.
It’s called Louisville Judges Watch .
“For years, there’s been growing conversations expressing concerns around public safety and what we all can do as a community to improve public safety,” said Iris Wilbur Glick, the spokesperson for Louisville Judges Watch.
The formation of the organization came about after Louisville Metro Police said a man with a prior criminal history kidnapped a mother and her two children before robbing a bank last in Aug.
Glick said that, based on conversations she’s had with voters, they find it hard to find reliable information on those seeking a seat on the bench.
