CLINTON, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Clinton Police Department says two people have been arrested following a stabbing in the parking lot of a restaurant on Tuesday.
Officers responded to El Indio Mexican Bar and Grill for reports of a stabbing on Sept. 23. CPD says when officers arrived, they learned there was an argument between David Shifflett, 44, Tyler Novak, 27 and a 33-year-old man.
The men then went outside where police say the argument turned into a fight, during which, Novak stabbed the 33-year-old twice with a box cutter.
According to CPD, Shifflett and Novak got into a car and drove off, heading westbound on N. Charles Seivers Blvd. Police attempted a traffic stop but the suspects kept driving through a parking lot and down an embankment before stopping on railroad tracks. They then
