MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - As the temperatures are beginning to drop for fall, the Dane County Regional Airport is helping Wisconsinites escape the cold.
The airport announced the return of seasonal nonstop flights to three warm locations, according to a release on Wednesday.
Beginning Oct. 23, Sun Country Airlines will offer a weekly nonstop service to Phoenix and a weekly service to Fort Myers, Fla.
American Airlines has also added a nonstop flight to Miami on Nov. 8.
“As we close out the busiest summer on record, it’s exciting to share even more travel opportunities for the winter season,” said Dane County Executive Melissa Agard. “These returning flights mean more options for travelers to escape the cold while also strengthening our local economy.”
