Niagara Parks is resurfacing four sections of the scenic Niagara Parkway in Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Work began Tuesday and is anticipated to be done by Oct. 24.
One lane of traffic will remain open and will be managed through a flagging operation to ensure the safe and efficient flow of vehicles, said parks officials.
Work is being done on a section that extends north of the White Water Walk attraction through the intersection at Victoria Avenue. This Niagara Falls section includes concrete sidewalk improvements.
Another city section is between the north exit of the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory and the Sir Adam Beck 1 Generating Station. This section includes the two area parkettes.
In Niagara-on-the-Lake, one section is between the York Road-Niagara River Parkw
