HARTFORD, CT. (WFSB) - Changes from the Trump administration on vaccines have created concerns.
Connecticut health officials are reaffirming the state’s commitment to making sure there is access to them.
But Wednesday at a public forum, those against vaccines had plenty to say.
“Let’s listen to us for a little bit – we will listen to you- but let’s listen to us,” said Senator Saud Anwar, (D), South Windsor.
Seven northeast states, including Connecticut, formed a voluntary coalition to create their own guidelines on vaccines and other public health issues.
“The department of public health in Connecticut which helps to support and protect people in our state is 80 percent funded by the federal government and we are going through a budgetary process right now and we are expecting those f
