NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Hunting season is here in Tennessee, according to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.

Starting Saturday, Sept. 27, archery-only season for deer and fall turkey season are set to kick off and continue through Oct. 24.

Other dates for deer and fall turkey seasons include:

Archery Deer: Sept. 27–Oct. 24 & Oct. 27–Nov. 7

Archery Turkey: Sept. 27–Oct. 24 & Oct. 27–Nov. 7

Shotgun/Archery Turkey: Oct. 11–24

The TWRA said turkey season will be open for all counties except:

Crockett

Dyer

Giles

Haywood

Lake

Lauderdale

Lawrence

Lincoln

Shleby

Tipton

Wayne
