NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A special honor for some of our local veterans at the Nashville International Airport took place Wednesday morning.

On Wednesday morning, 28 veterans got a chance to participate in an Honor Flight to Washington, D.C.

This honor flight included 24 Vietnam War veterans and four Korean War veterans. They got an all-expense paid trip to the nation’s capital, where they are getting the opportunity to visit war memorials dedicated to their service.
