PORTLAND, Ore. — Firefighters extinguished a house fire that spread to a second home in Southeast Portland's Brentwood Darlington neighborhood Wednesday afternoon. Three adults are displaced, and no one was injured.

Around 2:40 p.m., emergency dispatch received a call about the fire, initially reported at a home on the corner of Southeast 54th Avenue and Southeast Lambert Street, just off Southeast Flavel Drive. The fire had extended into the yard and a neighboring home, Portland Fire & Rescue said. Firefighters quickly put out the flames extending into the second home.

The first home, a single-story manufactured home, had flames and smoke pushing out of its windows, according to Portland Fire. Crews knocked down the bulk of the flames, but the fire had expanded into the home's attic. Th
