KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - Former Killeen ISD Superintendent, Dr. Jo Ann Fey, left the district over the summer and the search for a new one is slowing moving forward.

That is where Mike Moses and David Thompson are with the search firm Thompson & Horton come in.

“Our job is to facilitate the search, to organize the search, to aggressively recruit candidates, prepare the Board for interviews, help the Board go through the interview process, gather community input and information, put the Board in a position to make a great decision,” said Thompson.

They have spent 25 years helping Texas school districts recruit candidates for Superintendent positions and now they are doing the same for Killeen.

“We want to be clear, we’re still in the active recruitment and application period,” said Thomp
