ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Mizzou athletics teamed up with Edward Jones to provide a financial education and empowerment program for student athletes.

The goal of the program is to support student athletes in building knowledge and confidence of their financial goals and to make smart money habits.

“We are proud to give our student-athletes the financial tools they need in today’s revenue sharing and Name, Image and Likeness era,” Mizzou Athletic Director Laird Veatch said. “Financial literacy is a life skill that has benefits well beyond their time at Mizzou, and this is another example of our commitment to providing best-in-class resources to our student-athletes both on and off the field.”
