BELLEFONTAINE NEIGHBORS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A man is facing charges, accused of hitting his sister with a dumb bell before stabbing her to death.
Craig Jones, 22, is charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action.
Police say the incident happened in the 1200 block of Bliss Drive in Bellefontaine Neighbors on Tuesday. Authorities allege that Jones hit his sister, Taylar Hill, 26, several times in the head with a seven-pound dumbbell. He then allegedly stabbed her to death with a steak knife before he fled.
Officers later arrested Jones. Police say he admitted to the stabbing and had been planning to kill someone for a week.
