TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Harrison Elementary School just recently broke ground on a new playground.
This new one not only aims to provide entertainment at recess, but also be inclusive to those with disabilities.
Third grader J.J. Comer enjoys playing with his peers at recess. He enjoys playing tetherball and other sports, but as for the current playground, he can only access it with the help from his mother. This is due to the wood chips and the large railroad ties that surround the playground. A new one will be coming to the school, which aims to make it more accessible and inclusive for all students.
