MARSHALL, Texas (KETK)-- Due to safety concerns, Amazon has issued a recall notice for more than half a million products sold nationwide, including party favors provided at the Marshall Public Library.

The recalled products were purchased in June and were distributed to children between June 20 and July 30 during a scavenger hunt. According to the library, the products may contain phthalates, which are toxic if ingested.

Parents are asked to dispose of the items if their children still have them.
