HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - The hemispheric weather is in a state of flux, some would even say chaos! While our recent visitation by humid, tropical air has led to downpours, even a flash flood alert for a time, the skies over the Atlantic and Caribbean have become even more turbulent.

As Gabrielle heads for the Azores and then to Europe, two other storms are about to muddy the waters of the south Atlantic. First Humberto and in time Imelda are expected to churn in the so called Bermuda triangle the next week.

Effects from either storm will need to be determined! Interests heading to the coastal Carolinas, Bermuda or the West Indies should monitor these storms just to be safe.

Of course, locally, our rain pattern this week has put the flash drought on notice.
