MIFFLIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) -- Drivers on a major thoroughfare in Mifflin County should expect flaggers in one area for the rest of this week.

This will be on U.S. Route 522 in Decatur Township as a bridge is replaced crossing Jack's Creek west of the village of Wagner, PennDOT said.

The agency said flaggers will be on site through Friday, Sept. 25, to assist a contractor as work continues on the bridge.

A temporary bridge has been in use for the replacement project since the springtime.

Drivers are reminded to stay alert, slow down through the work zone and obey all flaggers and posted signage.
