Southbound traffic has been stopped near the Chemainus River Bridge due to a motor vehicle incident, with drivers reporting waits of upwards of 30 minutes Wednesday.

According to DriveBC, the incident was reported around 5:40 p.m. as a vehicle is blocking the right lane, and they warn drivers to expect delays.

A driver near the incident told CHEK News she saw a double bed tanker truck with the front end bent over the side of the road, with traffic backed up to the Fuller Lake Arena.
