Cyclist taken to hospital after collision with vehicle in Lyons

A cyclist was taken to a local hospital after a collision with a vehicle in Lyons on Wednesday evening.

At about 5:08 p.m., Boulder County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to West Main Street and Indian Lookout Road for a report of a crash involving a vehicle and a cyclist, according to sheriff’s office spokesperson Vinnie Montez.

The cyclist was transported awake to a local hospital, and the extent of their injuries is unknown, Montez said.

Eastbound West Main Street was closed for a few minutes.
