LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Lansing police and firefighters rescued a man from an overturned car Wednesday night. The vehicle found in a hole in a construction site.

According to LPD, police were sent to the area of East Saginaw and South Cedar for reports of a crash just before 10:30 p.m.

There, officers found a white SUV had driven through a fenced-off construction site. The car was overturned and stuck inside a hole in the ground.

Police discovered a woman had already escaped from the vehicle and that a man was still trapped inside. Firefighters were able to safely rescue him shortly after.

No one was seriously hurt. The area was closed as police cleared the area.
