Dozens of WA voters have reported receiving bungled postal voting packages ahead of next month's local government elections in WA in the latest headache for the West Australian Electoral Commission [WAEC].
It comes just months after March's problem-plagued WA state election, which resulted in an independent inquiry and a number of staffing changes amongst the WAEC executive.
On Thursday, the WAEC's acting commissioner Dennis O'Reilly told ABC Radio Perth a "very small number" of ballot papers had been sent to the wrong ward or district, while other voters had received "incomplete" ballot papers.
