SATSUMA, Ala. (WKRG) — A big moment for one Satsuma High School junior, as over the weekend she was crowned Miss Alabama Teen USA.
“It was just so exciting, and when they called my name, I really couldn’t believe it,” said 16-year-old Britain Fuller. “And I knew to give all the glory to God.”
Fuller is a junior at Satsuma High School and balances everything from classes, cheerleading, and multiple leadership roles.
Four years ago, she got her start in pageants after meeting her now coach, Michelle Watts.
“I went to my cousin’s school pageant. And Miss Michelle Watts was a judge there,” Fuller said. “Whenever I saw on her judge bio that she was a pageant coach as well, it lit a spark in me, and I knew that I wanted to be on that stage one day.”
