FARGO — A proposed interchange at 64th Avenue and Interstate 29 in south Fargo has left neighbors frustrated, with some calling the city’s planning process unfair and poorly communicated.
Several residents said the project does not fit the area and that they were not kept informed of changes.
“I moved here because it was a rare opportunity: I have a house that feels like I’m a little more in the country, yet I’m still in Fargo,” said Brent Mitchell, who lives near the proposed interchange.
The city maintains an interchange has always been part of the area’s long-term growth plan.
