MIDLAND, Tex--Springfield was swinging for a Texas League Championship Wednesday night.

It's been quiet a year for the 2025 Springfield Cardinals.

The team set a franchise record with 88 regular season wins.

And Springfield won the North in both the first and second halves of the season.

The cherry on the top would be a Texas League Championship.

And Springfield would jump out in front in the top of the first, Dakota Harris singles to right, Jon Jon Gazdar and Noah Mendlinger both score and it's 2-0 Cardinals.

Then Zach Levenson singles to center, that scores Leonardo Bernal, it's 3-0 Springfield.
