ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A plan that lays out how the City of Albuquerque would revitalize downtown over the next few decades is moving forward. The "Downtown 2050" plan would prioritize which development projects get completed over the next 20 years. On Wednesday, the plan went before a city committee, where it received mixed reactions. "The vision for this plan is that deeply rooted and richly diverse, Downtown Albuquerque is the cultural and commercial heart of the city," said Jennifer Jackson, Deputy Director for the Metropolitan Redevelopment Agency.
