KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Security camera video of gunfire at a Kansas City apartment went viral on TikTok, getting millions of views in just a few days.

The person who lives there and shared the video said it’s not the first time he’s heard gunfire, but never this close to his building.

The video only shows Nico Ramos rolling out of bed and hitting the floor, but shortly after, you can hear gunfire as he takes cover.

“I hear two gunshots, and they sounded really close,” Ramos said. “But I, like, kind of froze. And then I heard the third one. And when I heard that third one, it sounded like glass broke. So that's what made me jump and then that's when the video starts.”
