MANCHESTER, N.H. —

The trial of a man accused of holding a resident down at the former Youth Development Center while he was sexually assaulted continued Wednesday.

A key witness, David Meehan, who prosecutors say was a victim of sexual assault at the center, took the stand in James Woodlock's case .

Meehan was awarded $38 million by a civil jury for the years of abuse he suffered at the YDC and was questioned by both sides.

When questioned by the prosecution, Meehan described a period of rape and sexual assault during his time at the center.

He said Woodlock facilitated the abuse and would beat him into submission.
