NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Residents of an apartment complex in Norfolk's Ghent neighborhood are uncertain about what's next for the property after it was recently sold.
The more than $9 million sale became official Sept. 19, and the historic Pelham Place apartment complex has new ownership, and some long-term residents are unsure what will happen next.
Most agree finding affordable housing is a challenge, but for one group of Norfolk residents, they say that's what they found at Pelham Place.
"We live there because we can afford it," said Pelham Place tenant Gabriel Harrell. "We can't afford every place in Norfolk."
