EWEN — For the second time this season, the Ewen-Trout Creek Panthers volleyball team defeated the Chassell Panthers. Ewen won in three sets, 25-11, 25-20, and 25-17.

For Chassell, Elli Kuntze had 12 kills, three blocks, 18 digs, and four aces. Sylvia Aho had 26 assists.

Dusty Lippold had six kills and 15 digs. Oriana Olson had six kills, nine digs and two aces.

Copper Kings win in four sets

ISHPEMING — It took four sets, but the Calumet Copper Kings volleyball team defeated the Ishpeming Hematites, 24-26, 25-14, 25-22, and 25-22.

Chloe Coppo led the Copper Kings with 13 kills. Grace Keranen added 10 kills. Braylinn Anttila had nine.

Jess Anderson had 14 digs and four aces. Millie Loukus had 28 assists.
