PORTLAND, Oregon — The daughter of a North Portland man arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) last week says she's stuck without answers as she awaits her father's deportation Thursday morning.

Lizbeth Arriola Ramirez said immigration officials would not say where they would be deporting her father, whom she identified as Caballero, but the family assumes Mexico — a place they don't believe is safe.

"All of us are scared because we don't know where he's going," Ramirez said. "We don't know where to call; we don't know how to reach him."
