The Carey Panthers volleyball team won its homecoming contest against the Castleford Wolves 25-21, 25-13, 26-24 in Idaho Class 1A Sawtooth Conference action on Thursday at Carey High School. Emily Dahlstrom and Abbi Whittier led the team with six kills, while Andie Simpson registered 13 set assists. Emily Ruiz posted 11 digs, while Whittier led the team with six blocks. Carey, 6-3 (4-1 Sawtooth Conference), was scheduled to play at the Richfield Tigers on Tuesday after press time before playing the Camas County Mushers on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Carey High School.
